By downloading, accessing, or using Vocbook, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app or website.
Accounts
You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. You may not use another person's account or interfere with someone else's use of Vocbook.
Your content
You keep ownership of vocabulary lists, words, notes, images, imports, and other content you add. You grant Vocbook a limited license to host, process, display, sync, analyze, and back up that content so we can provide the features you choose to use.
AI features
AI-generated translations, examples, visual detections, pronunciation feedback, synonyms, antonyms, and similar word suggestions may be incomplete or inaccurate. Review important learning content before relying on it. Do not submit content you do not have the right to use.
Camera, microphone, and Micro-Learn
Camera, microphone, notification, and accessibility features require your permission. Micro-Learn is optional and is intended to show quick vocabulary prompts around selected app launches. You are responsible for using these features safely and in settings where interruptions are appropriate.
Subscriptions and purchases
Vocbook Pro may unlock premium features such as AI-powered practice, visual capture, pronunciation scoring, premium reminders, and advanced practice filters. Purchases are processed through Google Play and managed through RevenueCat. Prices, trial eligibility, renewal timing, cancellation, and refunds are governed by the store terms shown at purchase. You can restore purchases in the app where supported.
Acceptable use
- Do not use Vocbook for unlawful, harmful, abusive, deceptive, or infringing activity.
- Do not attempt to bypass premium access controls, rate limits, security rules, or payment systems.
- Do not upload malware, exploit the service, scrape private data, or disrupt the app for other users.
- Do not use AI or visual features to identify or process sensitive content in violation of law or others' rights.
Third-party services
Vocbook relies on third-party platforms for authentication, cloud storage, AI processing, speech processing, image search, subscriptions, support email, hosting, and payment handling. Those services may have their own terms and privacy policies.
Availability and changes
We may change, suspend, limit, or discontinue features, including beta or premium features, when needed for product, security, legal, or operational reasons. We will try to avoid unnecessary disruption.
Disclaimer
Vocbook is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted operation, and error-free results.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Okamiko Soft will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost data, lost profits, or lost goodwill arising from your use of Vocbook.
Termination
You may stop using Vocbook at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms, create risk for the service, or use the app in a way that could harm other users or third parties.
